● Passion for infants, toddlers and preschool children and their families
● Accesses each child developmental needs on an ongoing basis
● Implements approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule
● Responsible for the overall supervision of daily class functions
● Maintains a clean well kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
● Must be able to communicate with parents, families and other staff in a professional respectful manner
● Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
● Able to work as a team
● Early Childhood degree, CDA or equivalent required
● Experience working with children required
● Willingness to complete needed trainings and continuing education classes required
● Timely and reliable
● Must be able to lift 40 lbs or less, safely
● Able to move around comfortably and sit on the floor with children when necessary
● Basic computer skills required
● Must promote professionalism and cleanliness in regards to personal appearance
● Willing to get a background check as required by ODJFS
● Must be willing to assist with responsibilities of the Lead Teacher where needed
● Assist lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily classroom schedules
and activities
● Assist in keeping a clean well kept classroom and center
● Early Childhood degree or equivalent coursework preferred
● Experience working with children required
● Willingness to complete needed trainings and continuing education classes required
● Timely and reliable
● Must be able to lift 40 lbs or less, safely
● Must be able to acclimate to any age level where help is needed
● Able to move around comfortably and sit on the floor with children when necessary
● Basic computer skills required
● Must promote professionalism and cleanliness in regards to personal appearance
● Willing to get a background check as required by ODJFS
● Assisting teachers and staff in areas as needed during the day
● Assist with opening and closing procedures of classrooms (depending on shift time)
● Assist with snack/lunch prep as well as rest time needs
● Must be able to acclimate to any age level where help is needed
● Team oriented attitude
● Timely and reliable
● Must promote professionalism and cleanliness in regards to personal appearance
● Willing to get a background check as required by ODJFS
